Wii not compatible with Gamecube games?
I got a blue Wii for Christmas of 2011. Its a newer version but it isn't a Wii U. I tried looking for the place to plug in classic controllers (GameCube controllers) but it wasn't there. So then I tried to put in a GameCube game and it wasn't compatible! Why? My boyfriends Wii can play GameCube games, so why can't mine? And when you go into the channel to start you'r game, if there is no game inserted it shows a picture off a Wii disc and a GameCube disc. One of the reasons why I bought a Wii was to play GameCube games!!!

motion controllers vs body sensor cameras vs botton controllers which is better?
I always hear motion stuff is the future of gaming, But I wonder about those who can't move there bodies but like watching games be played so they feel involved. How would that work? Kinect you need a ton of room, WII needs to be positioned just right and the move might be the same way I have no clue. I say keep the botton controls.
Sorry I spelled button wrong, Oops.

Which gaming system should I get?
I am a 9th grade student that is currently saving up a lot of money for a gaming device. The only problem is, I have three choices to choose from, and I don't know which one I want.
The first option I have is the Playstation Vita. It's the new handheld device from Sony. It will only cost around 250.00$, and it's portable. I can also trade in my PSP Go while buying the Vita, which will lower the price of the handheld. If anyone has seen the type of games the Vita can play, then you know that it is a powerful device. The reason I wouldn't want to buy it is because I will probably have to wait a while for good games to come out for it. Also, I'm not sure if i want these other two options more.
The Wii U. I've been interested in this thing ever since I saw it in my Game Informer Magazine. The console doesn't look that different than the Wii, but it is way more powerful. The graphics rival the PS3's and Xbox 360's (both of which I already own, so no one tell me to get those instead), and the new controller that resembles a tablet. I can even play the Wii U games on the controller itself! The big problem that I have with this console is its pricing. The Wii U might be 600.00$ when it is released, and I would have to wait a long time to get the money I need to buy that. Otherwise, the console looks promising, and I would love to buy this device.
The last gaming device I might think of buying is the Lenovo Y570 gaming laptop. The price can be about 700.00$, which is more than even the Wii U, but I can play a huge diversity of games. Alot of my friends are starting to become PC gamers, and with this laptop I could join in the fun with them. On top of being able to play games on medium to high settings; it's a laptop. I can browse the internet at fast speeds, I can type up documents for school, etc. The reasons that I wouldn't want to get this device is because my mom & dad brought me a notebook laptop (specifically, an Acer Aspire 5532) back in 2009, and I'm not sure how they would react if I told them that I wanted to replace the laptop they gave me for the holidays (in case people ask me why I don't just use my notebook laptop for gaming, the laptop sucks at games. Sometimes even flash games are slow, and this laptop can also be slow at multitasking). Also, the price is huge, which is the obvious reason for why I wouldn't get it. However, the laptop looks great because of the features it offers.
Again, no one tell me to get an Xbox 360 or PS3; I already have both of them.
Wii Motion Controller Won't Work. Help!?
I just bought a new Wii controller with MotionPlus built in and I tried synching it by pressing the red button inside and the blue lights come on, but when the screen comes up, the cursor doesn't move. Help!
Wii MW3
Bought the new wii (Smaller Black One), bought a GC game off ClubNintendo, now I find out I can't play it?
I hope everyone knows which one I'm talking about, it's this one:
http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/213469-newwii.jpg
Anyways I do own a Gamecube as well (so I don't really have problems with discs),
My real problem is that I signed up for ClubNintendo.com and I banked up enough points to buy
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for like 100 points or something,
I downloaded it, and it installs straight onto my Wii, but I can't play it without a GC controller,
But I recently learned that the new wii lost it's GameCube Controller Ports.
So is there an extension I can buy so that I can actually play this game on my new wii,
or did Nintendo just **** me over by not telling me I can't play this game?
Wii Classic Controller - Nintendo Imprint?
Hey guys!
I was hoping that somebody who has the old wii classic controller (the long ovalish one with two joysticks) could help me out!
I'm trying to decide if mine is legit, or an lookalike knock-off.
I just have one question, does an official wii classic controller have the Nintendo label stamped in the back of the controller?
Thanks to anybody who answers this for me!
