Can my wii be fixed without sending it away?
My Nintendo Wii is way out of the 12 month warranty, it's probably about 3 or 4 years old and not long ago it stopped reading discs!!!! It was turned on but once you inserted a disc, nothing happened! We tried all of our game discs and nothing happened? And we were definetly putting them in the right way :)
I have heard if you turn it off for a few days it rests itself, is that true, or are there other ways to fixing this without sending it away?
Is Zelda Skyward Sword really worth it?
I know this game came out quite a year ago, but I just got my hands on it recently because of lots of work to do.
So, I'm playing it on my PC using Dolphin emulator. I'm new to the Zelda series. Skyward Sword is the first Zelda game I've played. And about 2 hours into the game, where I just set foot on the "surface, " specifically in the "Sealed Grounds," I'm finding this game... a bit... draggy... :/ Not that I'm making quick assumptions here already or offending any Zelda fan out there -.- But when the hell will the fun start or the **immense** story line start -.-?
People might say it's because of the graphics and I may be one of those newbie gamers who judge games based on their graphics, but seriously, I've been playing games every since and even enjoy games made in the 1990s like the Suikoden series. I don't care about the graphics of a game if it has something to overcompensate on like a very good story like Suikoden's.
So, is Zelda Skyward Sword truly worth my time? What makes it very good as many critics say? Is it the story or the action -.- (I'm a story-over-action person & also, I'm using an Xbox 360 controller, not Wii controllers)?
And please, don't give me simple answers. Give me answers worth reading -.-

So i want to use a freeloader for my wii?
I have a american nintendo wii and i want to use a freeloader so that i can play imported japanese games. Though when i researched about a very popular freeloader it says that it will work with firmware 3.2, apparently i have firmware of 4.3u or i don't know, anyway, the point is, will i still be able to use the free loader and play my japanese imports or am i out of luck? Also, is there a way to save a game file of that japanese import on my american wii?

My birthday is this weekend and I'm inviting 11 girls so their will be 12 of us. It's just gonna be a 4 hour party at my house.
I need games for us to play. I already have my Wii and we're watching a movie..anyways, I want the games to be unique and scary! I want to have a few scary games, that'll really spice it up..

Alright, before you start saying "birthdays are all about spending time with family and not gifts". Well I believe you but this is my birthday and this is the only time to get stuff I want. I'll tell you what I my interest is. I don't have a phone or any game consle (except with my dad parents split up) I don't have a computer either (using kindle to ask) my sisters have a wii that I play every once and a while but its not the most fun thing. I don't want anything too expensive and I read books only if I'm not on one and I have 10 books to read. I don't play with toys and I do have a dvd player in my room so a good movie is an option. I like action movies and comedy. My mom wont let me watch horror even though I do anyway. I cant buy anything on my kindle cause it messed up so we need to take it to get fixed. Please help once in a year and I barely get to buy things.

Before I start, I just want to say that I still have him on Facebook, but the information he sees on my page is very limited.
My ex broke up with me about a month ago. I was devastated, but I have no spoke or returned any messages from him since. His mother is getting married in June and I was very close with her. I sent an email telling her her that she probably heard about the break up, but if she would still like mt to come to the wedding, I would go FOR HER. My ex then messaged me back and said it would be awkward for me to come. I did not message him back. This was about 2 weeks ago.
His friends also became my friends when we were together and after he broke up with me, I messaged a couple of them them that if they would like to still be friends with them and they said sure...so I invited them to a friend's barbeque this weekend and they are coming. I did not invite my ex, but apparently, he knows about it because he told me in another message sent today saying that he "doesn't think it is a good idea for us to go to the same place aqt the same time"...also, apparently, my brother lost a game and he tried to call him yesterday from my house phone to ask him if maybe he had the game because I brought it once to play on my ex's Wii, but it turned out my ex wasn't home, and of course, he must have seen the number because in this message today he asked me if I called. I did not respond the message sent to me today yet.
So, I do wnat to get him back, but I want to show him that I am indifferent, unattainable, and just toobusyy for him. What do you think he is thinking and/or feeling about me now ? I am talking to other guys and I have added a few good looking, single, smart men to my facebook profile in the past month from a dating website, so I am taking advantage of being single and trying to move on, but I do still still want him back because I'm not really into these guys at all.
Please give me CONSTRUCTIVE and SERIOUS answers. I would really appreciate and I'll give stars to the best answer.
Arcade Stick Help PS3, PS2, Wii Please Help!?
I am looking for an arcade stick to play old school arcade games (i.e. Pac-man, Galaga) and arcade beat em ups (Double Dragon, X-Men).
I have a PS3, PS2 and Wii. I have the PS2 Street Fighter Anniversary stick, but unfortunately I have model that does not work with PS3 or Wii with adaptors.
I am interested in purchasing the Mayflash USB Universal Arcade Fighting Stick, but have heard some really bad things about it (breaks easily, makes loud clicking noises).
Is it sufficient for my non-fighting game needs or am I better off with the Wii Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Arcade FightStick with a Mayfash PS3 converter. I can also give up having a stick for the Wii and just get the Hori FightStick V3.
Would really appreciate any help as I'm rerally having a tough time deciding what to do. Also I have no idea how to mod a joystick nor would even attempt it lol.
