Is this really the 8th Generation video game console?
The Wii-U is a 8th Generation console? Ha. The graphics look like the PS3 and has the same power. And Sony and Microsoft has said nothing bout a new console so your telling me Nintendo is gonna be alone in this generation for like hmm i don't know 2 years till Sony and Microsoft put out their console This just looks like a total fluke and the Wii-U should be a 7.5th generation and are just making up for the Wii since compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 360 and PS3 clearly have the advantage in technology and value while the Wii can only play games and no DVD,CD or other features that PS3 and Xbox 360 have. But I'm not saying the Wii is bad I play it every day. I think Nintendo should wait till they get more info on the REAL 8th Generation consoles. And do some last minute changes on the Wii U.
Need help with xbox 360 connecting to wireless internet?
When I first got my xbox360 in nov. and all it had was the xbox the controller and the two cables to connect to the wall and the tv. I moved the other day and when i went to set up my xbox it says "To use a wireless internet connection, connect to xbox 360 wireless networking adapter to your console" i never had to do this before and never had an adapter for my xbox. Like i said i just got this in nov. its an xbox 360 4gb. i tried restarting it and everything so any advice would be helpful
Another question for people who own both PS3 and XBox 360?
If neither console had online play (I know they both do, obviously, but for the sake of this question, pretend they don't), which would you like better?
I only want answers from people who own both consoles because I'm not trying to start a fanboy flame war here.

My Xbox 360 wired controller is spazzing out?
So I have an afterglow 360 wired controller, and every time I tilt it downward, the slightest bit, it disconnects and the green LED's in it keep flashing on and off really fast, and it doesn't stop until I lay it down flat on a table. Any idea what this is or what might be causing it? I tried using my other controller and haven't had any problems, so it can't be the console. Thanks. Oh, and if you want leave your gamertag.
I don't meant the four led's around the guide button, I mean the ones in the clear part of the controller.
When I buy an add-on for a game or some other downloadable content on Xbox Live where is it stored?

If I were to buy an add-on for a game on Xbox Live Marketplace once it’s downloaded where is it stored? On my Xbox Live account or on the hard drive of my Xbox?
If my Xbox 360 were to break down (touch wood, lol) and I bought a brand new one how would I go about accessing that add-on to play it on the new console?

Spiderman 3 Xbox 360 Playable Characters?
I would just like for somebody to confirm something. I have been searching the internet trying to see if its possible to play as venom and how. I have found many people stating many different ways to unlock him and some people saying its not possible. THEN i look at ign cheats and see something that said you can also play as lizard, sandman, and venom. Can somebody please tell me if i am able to unlock these characters and how? Or if I need to be on a different console?
What is a better console?
I'm thinking of getting a pre-owned console, either a PS3 or an Xbox 360. I'm not an excessive gamer, hence why I want a pre-owned console, as the only games I would be playing would be mainly the batman games, final fantasy and things like that. I've had an Xbox 360 before, but I'm curious to know which one would be better for just general gaming? I've found they are around the same price pre-owned in places like game and game station so it's nothing to do with price, more reliability. I love my playstation 2, but the only reason I want a new console, is because the games I want to play aren't available on the consoles I currently own (nintendo wii, nintendo ds, playstation 2 etc)
So yeah, opinions one which is more reliable and things will be helpful!
